Associate Ministers usually have responsibilities in worship, in preaching, and in administrative areas of the church's ministry. Other responsibilities may vary according to the needs of the church and the abilities of the associate. She/he is usually expected to serve in regular areas of pastoral ministry such as teaching, visitation, administration and missionary work, as well as some preaching and worship leadership.
Deacons are responsible for formulation of policies and plans pertaining to the spiritual life of the church. The deacons are responsible for the Board of Review. They will review organizations that request use of church facilities other than Mt. Level organizations and auxiliaries, such as community churches, polling places and other organizations that are not directly affiliated with the Mount Level Church.
Trustees execute all contracts, deeds, mortgages, or other instruments when authorized to do so by the church in conference. The church shall elect at least nine members to serve as trustees whose terms of
office shall be for three years with one third elected each year
Church Auxilaries and Committees help to carry out the operating functions of the church. Mt. Level has many committees and auxilaries, each serving different purposes, but collectively, helping our church govern the needs of the congregation and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
